1 Dead in Huntington Beach Car Crash on Edinger Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (June 28, 2019) – An 82-year-old Westminster man in a car crash on Edinger Avenue on June 26.
Officers came to the scene on Edinger Avenue and Graham Street around 7:10 p.m. and found a white, 2009 Toyota Tacoma with damage to the front end.
Sgt. Eric Warken of the Huntington Beach Police Department revealed that the driver inside the vehicle was non-responsive.
The driver didn’t wear his seatbelt at the time of the collision. Responders took him to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities found the second vehicle, a gold 2006 Toyota Corolla, with major damage to the rear driver side passenger door and quarter panel. The 32-year-old female driver from Huntington Beach complained of pain.
According to a preliminary investigation, the Toyota’s driver headed south through the intersection while the Tacoma headed west when the collision happened at the intersection.
