One Fatally Hurt after Los Angeles Hit-And-Run Crash on Pico Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 17, 2019) – A man died following a hit-and-run crash on Pico Boulevard on Wednesday, October 16.
According to L.A. police the accident happened around 6:20 a.m., at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Pico Boulevard. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
The victim eventually succumbed to his injuries at the scene. However, his identity was not immediately available.
Police described the suspect vehicle as an older-model white or gray-colored box truck. There is a word “Penske” written on the back or side of the truck.
In addition, there were also two male occupants inside, and the truck was last seen traveling east on Pico Boulevard.
The exact circumstances of the incident were not immediately known. There are no security cameras that focused on the intersection. However, investigators are canvassing the area for any surveillance video which may have shown the truck.
