Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Moss Landing Crash
MOSS LANDING, CA (March 25, 2019) – A 25-year-old man died following a hit-and-run accident alongside Highway 1 in Monterey County.
Authorities found the man’s body at around 9 a.m. Saturday on the southbound Highway 1 shoulder at Struve Road, about a mile north of Moss Landing. CHP determined that the victim has been on foot, and suffered significant head and body trauma.
The victim’s identity was not immediately available Saturday, pending notification of family.
California Highway Patrol is looking for the hit-and-run suspect and vehicle. The CHP doesn’t know the make or model of car that struck the victim.
