San Diego, CA (March 18, 2024) – A man lost his life following a hit-and-run crash near Balboa Park Sunday morning.

It was about 5:20 a.m. when the man was hit on the transition from northbound Interstate 5 to the northbound 163 Freeway.

There is no information if the man died at the accident scene or the hospital.

Officers are still investigating.
