1 Person Dead in Oakland Pedestrian Accident on 3800 Park Boulevard
OAKLAND, CA (May 11, 2021) – Sunday evening, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on 3800 Park Boulevard in Oakland.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 5:14 p.m. Moreover, the pedestrian crash transpired in the 3800 block of Park Boulevard in the Glenview district.
Reports revealed that a northbound Lexus GS struck a man standing on the sidewalk. Then, the suspect vehicle left the roadway. Afterward, it collided with two parked vehicles before fleeing the scene and heading south.
Furthermore, paramedics transported the male pedestrian to a hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead from major injuries.
Also, authorities said that it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
