Deadly Tucson Pedestrian Accident on 22nd Street and Sahuara Avenue
TUCSON, AZ (November 23, 2021) – Sunday, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on 22nd Street and Sahuara Avenue.
The crash happened on 22nd Street and Sahuara Avenue, near the El Guelo Canelo on 22nd between Wilmot and Craycroft.
When the officers arrived, they found a man who had been hit in the road. Responders took him to the hospital where he later died. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed his identity due to pending family notification.
According to some witnesses, a car struck the man as he crossed the street in a crosswalk with the HAWK light activated.
Meanwhile, the police described the car as a dark-colored sedan or hatchback with damage to the hood and windshield.
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone who sees the vehicle to call 88-crime.
