Solo-Vehicle Involved in Fatal Collision near Airport Road
EVERETT, WA (November 18, 2018) – A man was killed in a fiery car crash on State Route 526, early Saturday morning. The victim’s name, age, and city of residence were not yet known.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:30 AM, near Airport Road. Based on the report from the troopers, the victim’s car left the roadway, and it appeared to go over an on-ramp at the intersection.
It was not yet clear in what manner the accident occurred, but when officers arrived, the vehicle was on fire on Boeing property. No other party was involved, and the sole occupant of the vehicle was proclaimed dead at the scene. His identity was not yet released pending kin notification. The medical examiner was yet to determine the cause of death.
Officials ordered a clean-up at the scene and began their investigation, but no additional information has been released to the public at this time.
