Male Pedestrian Dies in a Crash on Hermans Road in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (September 20, 2021) – Monday night, a male pedestrian died after being struck in a scooter crash on Hermans Road and Farmbelt Drive.

The fatal crash happened on September 20.

Tucson Police said the victim was hit by a Suzuki motor scooter while standing in the roadway. 

The pedestrian died at the crash scene.

EMS took the scooter driver to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Moreover, TPD said the rider lose control after hitting the pedestrian and crashed. The rider was not impaired at the time of the collision.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
