1 Dead in Gilroy Pedestrian Accident on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way

 
GILROY, CA (September 14, 2022) – Monday night, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
 
The incident happened occurred at about 8:54 p.m. on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
 
According to reports, a vehicle struck and killed a Gilroy resident. When officers arrived, they declared that person dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, authorities described the suspect’s vehicle as a gray or charcoal-colored SUV with front-end damage. Officers said that the vehicle drove away north on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
 
Gilroy Police urged anyone who witnessed the crash to call Officer Julio Romero at (408) 846-0523.
