GILROY, CA (September 14, 2022) – Monday night, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
 
The incident happened occurred at about 8:54 p.m. on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
 
According to reports, a vehicle struck and killed a Gilroy resident. When officers arrived, they declared that person dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, authorities described the suspect’s vehicle as a gray or charcoal-colored SUV with front-end damage. Officers said that the vehicle drove away north on Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way.
