1 Dead in Boyle Heights Pedestrian Accident on Whittier Boulevard and Esperanza Street
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (April 4, 2022) – Saturday night, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Whittier Boulevard and Esperanza Street.
The incident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on Whittier Boulevard and Esperanza Street.
According to reports, a man in his 40 to 50s walked north in the crosswalk on Esperanza Street. Then, a westbound Ford Fusion hit him and then fled the scene.
When the paramedics arrived, they declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the LAPD’s Central Traffic Division at 213-833-3746.
