The accident happened at about 1:08 p.m. on Ventura Road and Ninth Street.

According to reports, a vehicle struck an unidentified man and left him after the crash. When the authorities arrived, they rushed the man to Ventura County Medical Center. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
