Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near Normandie Avenue

 
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 22, 2018) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sunset Boulevard, late Tuesday evening. His identity is not yet known at this time.
 
The victim, who was described to be a man between 25 and 30 years old, was struck by a vehicle at around 11:00 PM on Sunset Boulevard near Normandie Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the driver fled the scene and was seen driving east on Sunset to southbound Normandie. Descriptions of the suspect and the car were not immediately released by investigators.
