1 Dead in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on Speedway Boulevard and Stone Avenue

 
TUCSON, AZ (March 31, 2022) – Sunday night, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Speedway Boulevard and Stone Avenue.
 
The crash occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on East Speedway Boulevard and North Stone Avenue.
 
When the authorities arrived, they tried to perform life-saving efforts. However, the adult male pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
At this time, his identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, officers revealed that the pedestrian tried to cross using a crosswalk. However, a vehicle struck him, and fled the scene.
 
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation. Furthermore, they urged anyone with information about the incident to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
