Injuries Reported in Spokane Motorcycle Accident on South Madison Road and East Gibbs Road
SPOKANE, WA (August 22, 2022) – Sunday morning, a man died in a motorcycle crash on South Madison Road and East Gibbs Road.
The incident occurred at about 9:50 a.m. along the 11500 block of South Madison Road, south of East Gibbs Road. Officers revealed that a man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.
According to reports, a second motorcycle, possibly black and red, rode with the man during the crash. Then, the second rider turned around and went back to the scene but eventually fled before the officers arrived.
When the responding deputies and Spokane County fire personnel arrived, they attended to the man. However, they eventually declared that person dead at the scene.
At this time, the authorities believed that speed played a role in the crash.
Furthermore, they urged anyone with information about the incident to contact Det. Jeff Welton at (509) 477-3237. Also, they urged the second motorcycle rider to contact Welton to provide a statement.
