1 Dead in East Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on San Bernardino Freeway
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (March 9, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a man died in a pedestrian crash on San Bernardino Freeway in East Los Angeles.
The incident occurred just after 2:05 p.m. in the westbound San Bernardino Freeway.
According to reports, a man intentionally runs into traffic. When the authorities arrived, they found the pedestrian bleeding and lying on the ground.
Eventually, paramedics declared the man dead at the scene. At this time, his identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification. However, officers confirmed that the male victim was in his 40s.
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation revealed that the man parked his car on the right shoulder of the freeway. Then, he intentionally ran into traffic.
As a result, the authorities shut down the fourth lane of westbound traffic for about two hours during the investigation.
