1 Dead in Arlington Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 20 near Center Street

ARLINGTON, TX (March 6, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a man died in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Center Street.

The incident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20, near Center Street.

According to the investigators, the driver of a Yukon rear-ended an Avalon. As a result, the Yukon crashed into the concrete median and then roll on its side.

Then, a Sierra driving behind the two vehicles crashed into the Yukon.

After the crash, responders transported the Yukon driver to a hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.

Officers noted that he failed to wear his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Then, responders transported the drivers of the other two vehicles to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities revealed that one of the drivers have multiple outstanding warrants. Thus, they arrested him after being cleared at the hospital.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
