Man Killed in Accident on Laguna Boulevard [Elk Grove, CA]

Elk Grove Crash on Laguna Boulevard Kills 27-Year-Old Man

 
ELK GROVE, CA (November 15, 2019) — A 27-year-old man died in an accident on Laguna Boulevard Wednesday at around 1:30 a.m.
 
Firefighters found a full-size pickup with major damage to the driver’s side of the truck. They peeled that side open, the shredded metal sticking out from the impact area.
 
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigators believe that the truck hit the center median, crossed over to the other lane of traffic, and then hit a tree.
 
The authorities closed eastbound Laguna Boulevard between Haussman Street and Laguna Main. The road reopened at around 7 a.m.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The officials ask any witnesses to call police at 916-478-8148.
