FAIRFIELD, CA (December 19, 2022) – Sunday night, a man died in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 and Pittman Road.
 
The incident occurred at about 5:40 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, east of Pittman Road.
 
According to reports, a Tesla sedan traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it struck two other vehicles and overturned several times along the roadway.
 
As a result, responders transported three people to the hospital. At this time, the authorities confirmed that the Tesla driver sustained major injuries.
 
However, a male Tesla passenger succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, two people in the other vehicles sustained minor injuries.
