Ferndale Deadly Accident on Interstate 5 and Nooksack River Bridge
FERNDALE, WA (December 22, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a 66-year-old man died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 and Nooksack River Bridge.
The incident occurred at around 4:15 p.m. Moreover, it happened on Interstate 5 and Nooksack River Bridge.
WSP Trooper Jacob Kennett confirmed that one person died at the scene.
The authorities eventually identified the victim as a 66-year-old from Deming. According to reports, the man drove a 2006 Subaru Baja. Then, he had spun out and come to rest sideways across both lanes. Eventually, two other vehicles, a 2006 Lexus passenger car and a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup hit the Subaru.
The other involved drivers suffered no injuries in the crash.
Meanwhile, the authorities found out that the deceased failed to wear a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Also, the officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
