1 Dead in Fresno Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99 and Shaw Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 19, 2022) – Friday night, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 99 and Shaw Avenue in Fresno.
The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Highway 99, just north of Shaw Avenue.
According to reports, a 29-year-old man rode his Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 99 in the far-left lane.
Then, the driver failed to see an obstruction in the road ahead of him and ended up hitting it.
The impact ejected the rider from his motorcycle. Then, he landed in the far-right lane of the highway, where a 28-year-old woman driving a Toyota Corolla hit him.
Afterward, responders took the rider to a hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, the female driver suffered no injuries and showed no signs of impairment.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
