RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (February 22, 2023) – Monday, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 50 and Zinfandel Drive.
 
The incident happened at about 7:14 p.m. on Highway 50 and Zinfandel Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle stopped on the right shoulder. Then, a man outside of it walked into traffic lanes until the car hit him.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t determined why the man walked into the lanes of Highway 50.
 
When responders arrived at the crash scene, they took the patient to the hospital. However, the man later succumbed to his injuries.
