MERCED COUNTY, CA (December 7, 2022) – Monday night, a man died in a tow truck crash on Highway 165 and American Avenue.
 
The incident happened at about 5:45 p.m. on Highway 165 and American Avenue.
 
According to reports, as a 28-year-old driver waited to make a left turn, a tow truck rear-ended his vehicle.
 
Then, the impact caused the car to struck a big rig in the opposite lane of traffic.
