SANTA PAULA, CA (January 26, 2022) – Monday night, a 32-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Highway 126 and Briggs Road.
 
The incident occurred just before 9:45 p.m. on Highway 126, west of Briggs Road.
 
According to reports, a 30-year-old woman drove a 2015 Dodge Dart eastbound. Then, for unknown reasons, her vehicle veered off the right side of the highway and hit a tree.
 
Thus, responders transported the woman and her male passenger to a hospital. However, the man later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the woman sustained major injuries.
 
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the CHP’s Ventura office at 805-662-2640.
