1 Dead in South Lake Tahoe Motorcycle Accident on Black Bart Avenue and Hank Monk Avenue
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (July 21, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a 47-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Black Bart Avenue and Hank Monk Avenue.
The incident occurred at around 6:48 a.m. on Black Bart Avenue and Hank Monk Avenue.
According to reports, a 47-year-old South Lake Tahoe man riding a 2009 Yamaha headed north on Black Bart Avenue. Then, the 20116 Toyota driver veered left onto Black Bart Avenue from Hank Monk Avenue. Eventually, the motorcycle crashed into the side of the Toyota.
As a result, responders took the Yamaha driver to Barton Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old Toyota driver received treatment at Barton Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
