SANTA ROSA, CA (March 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a man died in a car crash on Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:45 a.m. on Bennett Valley Road.
 
According to reports, a man driving a silver Volkswagen Beetle crashed into trees.
 
At this time, his identity remains undisclosed.
 
Meanwhile, reports confirmed that the man traveled east on Bennett Valley Road at a high rate of speed. Also, he drove past a car across a double yellow line. Then, the driver lost control, swung into the westbound lane and shoulder, and crashed with two trees.
 
As a result, the impact pushed the Beetle back into the road where it crashed with a westbound Nissan Pickup.
 
The Nissan had minor damage but its driver suffered no injuries.
 
Meanwhile, responders declared the other driver dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, authorities shut down Bennett Valley Road for more than two hours.
