Motorcyclist Dead in Lancaster Accident on Avenue J-8 and Division Street

 
LANCASTER, CA (May 2, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Avenue J-8 and Division Street.
 
The incident happened at 4:15 p.m. on Avenue J-8 and Division Street.
 
According to the preliminary investigation, a woman drove a Nissan Sentra south on Division Street. Then, she turned left at Avenue J-8 into the path of the man riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
 
“The male adult riding the Harley-Davidson motorcycle was ejected from the motorcycle. And was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics,” Detective Ryan Ament of the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station said.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased.
 
Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether speed or drugs, and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. Furthermore, they urged anyone with information about the crash to contact traffic investigators at the Lancaster Sheriff Station at 661-948-8466.
