LANCASTER, CA (July 26, 2022) – Sunday night, a man died in a motorized scooter crash on Avenue H-8 and 30th Street East.
 
The incident occurred at about 9:06 p.m. near Avenue H-8 and 30th Street East.
 
According to reports, the male scooter rider headed north on 30th Street East. Then, he crashed with a Toyota as it turned south onto 30th Street East from westbound Avenue H-8.
 
“The male adult riding the motorized scooter was ejected from the scooter and later pronounced dead at Antelope Valley Hospital,” reports revealed.
 
His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification. Meanwhile, authorities confirmed that he was in his 40s.
 
“It is unknown if speed is a factor in the collision. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role,” the sheriff’s news stated.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash. Furthermore, they urged anyone with information about the incident to call the traffic investigators at Lancaster Sheriff Station at 661-948-8466.
