1 Dead in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard.
The incident happened at around 10:45 a.m. on Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard. A vehicle struck and killed a man. As a result, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and went to Riverside Community Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to investigators, a 2008 Nissan Altima headed north on Van Buren Boulevard. Then, the pedestrian walked into the street from the east curb and a vehicle struck him.
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old Riverside driver sustained no injuries and stayed at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
