ROY, WA (September 27, 2022) – Early Sunday, a 19-year-old man died in a DUI crash near 304th Street East and 8th Avenue South.
 
The incident occurred at around 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of 304th Street East and 8th Avenue South.
 
According to reports, a 21-year-old man in a two-door couple traveled west on 304th Street. Then, he went off the road to the south and rollsed several times.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found a damaged car. They also confirmed that driver was going at an “incredibly reckless” speed before the crash.
 
At this time, the authorities suspect that the driver have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 
After the crash, they declared the 19-year-old male passenger dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the driver to an area hospital. He es expected to be charged with vehicular homicide.
