Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 5 Freeway in Williams

 
Williams, CA (September 9, 2020)– Wednesday morning, a 65-year-old Woodland resident died in a car crash on 5 Freeway at E Street off-ramp.
 
The incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on September 9.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the victim was struck by a car on the southbound lanes of 5 Freeway at E Street off-ramp for unknown circumstances. He sustained fatal injuries.
 
CHP said a white Ford F-450 then found on the right-hand shoulder near the accident scene. However, it was not mentioned to have been involved in the incident.
 
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
