Man Killed in Broadway Hit-and-Run Crash [Lemon Grove, CA]

Lemon Grove, CA (July 23, 2024) – A 44-year-old man was killed in a Broadway hit-and-run crash early Monday morning.

The authorities received the crash report at 2:15 a.m in the 8200 block of Broadway in San Diego.

Responding officers located the victim lying in the center lane conscious and breathing. 

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Witnesses said the man was standing on the road speaking to the occupants of a vehicle. Suddenly, the vehicle accelerated and intentionally struck the man before fleeing the scene.

Investigators said there is no information on a possible suspect as of yet.
