1 Dead in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99

 
FRESNO, CA (June 24, 2020) – Late Monday night, a man died in a big rig crash on Highway 99 near Manning Avenue in Fowler.
 
According to reports, a big rig struck a man crossing Highway 99. Meanwhile, the officers revealed that they responded to the southbound side of Highway 99 near Manning Ave just before midnight.
 
Moreover, the officers revealed that the man struck the center divider with his vehicle. Afterward, he attempted to cross the highway, probably to get to the shoulder. Unfortunately, a big rig struck him.
 
Due to the crash, the police shut down southbound Highway 99 for multiple hours. However, the roads have since reopened.
