Pedestrian Run Over by Vehicle in San Jose Traffic Incident
San Jose, CA (July 31, 2024) On Sunday morning, a man was killed after a Toyota Highlander ran over him in a horrific auto-pedestrian crash on 11th Street.
According to San Jose police, the fatal traffic incident happened around 6:18 a.m. on the area of 11th Street and E. William Street.
Reports say that the Toyota was leaving an apartment complex driveway at a slow rate of speed when it ran over a man lying on the roadway.
Medics rushed the male patient to the hospital, where the patient ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the male driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.
Police are investigating the fata crash and have not released further details at this time.
