Man Killed in Accident on Anza Road and Bowker Road [Calexico, CA]

1 Dead in Calexico Crash on Anza Road and Bowker Road

 
CALEXICO, CA (November 10, 2020) – Saturday night, a man died in an accident on Anza Road and Bowker Road in Calexico.
 
Reports revealed that at around 8:40 p.m., an agent responded to Anza Road and Bowker Road.
 
The agent responded after receiving a report of individuals making an illegal entry into the US.
 
Shortly after, the agent failed to avoid running over an individual lying on the road.
 
The agent immediately helped the man until medical responders arrived.
 
Subsequently, medical responders took the victim to a local hospital.
 
Eventually, they transported him to Desert Regional Medical center in Palm Springs. He later died there.
 
At this time, the CHP, CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General are investigating the incident.
