1 Dead in Long Beach Traffic Crash on 300 Market Street
LONG BEACH, CA (January 1, 2023) – Saturday night, a man died in a DUI accident on 300 Market Street in Long Beach.
The incident happened just after 5:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Market, said Long Beach Police Department.
According to reports, the man and a woman tried to push a vehicle out of the traffic lanes. Then, the person was hit by another vehicle.
After the crash, responders took the paramedics to a hospital.
Then, responders declared the person dead at the scene.
Moreover, responders arrested the vehicle driver that hit the man for suspicion of DUI.
Then, the crash shut down Market Street between Elm and Linden Avenues during the investigation.
