1 Dead and 1 Hurt in Gilroy Car Accident on State Route 152 and Lovers Lane

 
GILROY, CA (January 24, 2021) – Saturday morning, a man died and another was injured in a crash on State Route 152 and Lovers Lane.
 
The head-on crash occurred around 3:00 am. According to reports, a 57-year-old man drove east on State Route 152. Then, he veered over the yellow lines, west of Lovers Lane. Afterward, it struck a westbound vehicle.
 
As a result, the Gilroy man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, a 64-year-old man from Gustine in Merced County, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
