1 Dead in Santa Cruz Car Crash on Pacific Avenue

 
SANTA CRUZ, CA (June 28, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, a man died in an auto accident on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz.
 
According to reports, just after 1:00 a.m., a man driving a car crashed into a tree on Pacific Avenue and Center Street.
 
When the first responders arrived at the scene, they initiated life-saving measures to the passenger of the car. However, they couldn’t save him. Thus, they declared the passenger dead at the scene. A man is dead after a car collided with a tree Saturday morning.
 
Officers with the Santa Cruz Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Center Street just after 1:00 a.m.
 
Meanwhile, the driver was listed in critical condition at a trauma center.
 
At this time, it’s still unclear whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
