Rollover Crash in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 18, 2019) – A man and his dog were injured in a rollover crash on Whites Canyon Road Thursday night.
Officials reported the accident occurred around 8:12 PM on the 28000 block of Whites Canyon Road. Medics arrived in front of Fire station 128.
According to police, an SUV rolled over and crashed into the front lawn of a fire station. However, the events leading up are currently unclear. Also, the vehicle sustained major front end damages. As a result, the driver had to be extricated.
Medics arrived shortly after. Both the driver and his dog were in critical condition as a result of the collision. They were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. However, there has been no update on their medical status.
Due to the accident, traffic was blocked for a brief period of time. Cleaning crews were also dispatched to clean up debris left on the road. There has been no further information released at this time as investigations continue.
