GLENDALE, AZ (September 21, 2021) – On Monday, a man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Grand Avenue near 43rd Avenue.
According to authorities, the incident started when an officer spotted a man accused of stealing a bike on Grand Avenue near 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Reports revealed that after seeing the officer, the suspect jumped off the bike and ran into the roadway. The suspect collided with the side of a tractor-trailer. Then, another car struck the pedestrian.
Furthermore, responders transported the suspect to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Moreover, the crash closed the highway in both directions.
