Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Accident on Camino De La Reina near Qualcomm Way
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 21, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Camino De La Reina near Qualcomm Way.
According to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims, the incident occurred on Camino De La Reina near Qualcomm Way at around 2:15 p.m.
Reports revealed that a westbound Volvo crossed the intersection on Camino De La Reina at a green light when a man suddenly ran into the car’s path.
Responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with a broken left femur and a major head trauma.
The 26-year-old female driver of the Volvo sustained no injuries in the crash.
The incident is under San Diego Police Department’s traffic division investigation.
