56-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Hit by Car near Saint James Episcopal Church
SONORA, CA (June 27, 2018) – A Sonora man was injured Wednesday morning following a pedestrian accident on North Washington Street.
According to Sonora Police officials, the 56-year-old pedestrian was crossing Elkin Street in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle, driven by an 84-year-old woman. The driver was reportedly attempting to turn left from North Washington Street before the collision.
The unidentified pedestrian sustained minor injuries, such as scrapes to his knees and right elbow, and did not require medical attention or hospitalization. He was later transported to his home by the authorities.
