Male Pedestrian Hurt in Collision near Grangeville Boulevard in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (April 2, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, a man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Highway 41.
California Highway Patrol responded to the collision around 3:00 a.m., on April 1. Dispatchers arrived to the area near Grangeville Boulevard.
According to reports, a driver called authorities after striking a man on the roadway. CHP officials located the unidentified pedestrian down on the road upon arrival.
The male pedestrian suffered serious injuries due to the impact of the collision. However, his current condition and identity has remain undisclosed at this time.
Furthermore, the driver remained on scene and has been cooperative with the authorities. Their identity has also remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the incident led the authorities to shut down the northbound lane of Highway 41 for more than an hour while they worked at the scene. However, the roadway has since reopened.
