Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Graton Road
SEBASTOPOL, CA (July 19, 2019) – A man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Graton Road, early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near the intersection of Tanuda Road at approximately 12:20 AM. Based on an initial report, the male pedestrian laid in the road. After that, a 2006 Scion driven by an unnamed woman from Camp Meeker ran over the victim.
The paramedics took the victim to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. In addition, they reported that the man suffered major injuries in the incident.
The driver stopped at the scene and reported the incident to a nearby Cal Fire station. In addition, she narrated that the victim was laying on the road and wearing dark-colored clothes at that time.
No other information has been disclosed to the public, as an investigation is ongoing.
