Skateboarder Hospitalized after Collision with Pickup Truck near West Nees Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 3, 2018) – A man was injured Wednesday morning following a motorized skateboard crash on West Audubon Drive. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
As per reports, the incident happened at the intersection of West Nees Avenue and West Audubon Drive. The victim was on a motorized skateboard when he made a left turn and collided with a westbound pickup truck.
The skateboarder was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center with a broken arm and leg. Updates on his current medical condition were not available. Meanwhile, the unidentified pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released to the public once it becomes available.
