PUYALLUP, WA (April 9, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a 44-year-old man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on South Meridian near 39th Avenue.
 
The Puyallup police revealed that the incident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Moreover, it happened on South Meridian between 39th Avenue SW and 43rd Avenue SW.
 
As a result, the 44-year-old male motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries, said Puyallup Police Capt. Dan Pashon. Thus, responders took him to a local hospital.
 
Also, the incident closed South Meridian through South Hill in both directions.
 
Furthermore, the crash affected the evening commute during the investigation.
 
Meanwhile, the truck driver suffered no injuries.
 
Pashon added that they do not believe that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.
