MISSION VALLEY, CA (October 3, 2021) – Saturday morning, a man sustained injuries in a moped crash on Friars Road in Mission Valley.
 
According to San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at around 10:21 a.m. Moreover, it occurred in the 7000 block of westbound Friars Road.
 
Reports revealed that a Honda Civic exited an apartment complex parking lot onto southbound Friars Road. However, it collided with a moped that ran a red light.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the moped driver to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
