FAIRFIELD, CA (December 23, 2024) – Sunday morning, a man sustained injuries in an alarming rollover crash on Highway 80 and Interstate 680.

The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Highway 80 and Interstate 680.

A man in his 40s was driving westbound on Interstate 80 when he failed to navigate the curve onto southbound Interstate 680, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported.

The pickup truck struck the right wall, overturned, slid along the rail, and came to a stop. The Fairfield Fire Department also responded to the scene, according to CHP spokesman Officer Garrett Pumphrey.
