FONTANA, CA (May 5, 2021) – On Saturday, a man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Cherry Avenue near Santa Ana Avenue.
 
According to Fontana Police Department Public Information Officer Kevin Anderson, the incident involved a 40-year-old male transient and an unknown vehicle. Moreover, it happened on Cherry Avenue, north of Santa Ana Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that as a 40-year-old pedestrian crossed Cherry, a southbound vehicle (possibly a tractor/trailer) struck the victim.
 
Furthermore, responders rushed the victim to a local hospital with major injuries.
 
Also, the collision is under Major Accident Investigation Team’s investigation.
