Injuries Reported in Davis Pedestrian Accident on Sycamore Lane and Alvarado Avenue
DAVIS, CA (December 13, 2021) – Friday morning, a man in a wheelchair suffered injuries in a crash on Sycamore Lane and Alvarado Avenue.
The crash happened at around 8:30 a.m. as a 29-year-old man in a wheelchair used the crosswalk. Then, a southbound vehicle struck him, Lt. Ilya Bezuglov said. Moreover, the crash occurred on Sycamore Lane and Alvarado Avenue.
“The driver claimed that because the morning was so foggy, he didn’t see him,” Bezuglov added.
As a result of the crash, the electric wheelchair overturned and the victim fell to the ground. Thus, responders took him to the hospital with facial injuries and pain in his body.
Also, his wheelchair sustained major damage.
