Pedestrian Struck by Car in Albertsons Parking Lot near Los Feliz Drive

 
BUENA PARK, CA (July 20, 2018) – A man sustained injuries that left him unconscious after a hit-and-run collision near Valley View Street, early Friday morning. His identity and city of residence were not immediately released by officials.
 
The collision occurred at around 12:35 AM in the Albertsons Supermarket parking lot near Los Feliz Drive. A man was struck by a car, described by witnesses to be a white Toyota Camry, whose driver fled the scene.
 
Emergency responders found the victim unconscious with no other obvious signs of trauma. He was rushed to the University of California Irvine (UCI) Medical Center in Orange, to determine the severity of his injuries. There is no update on his current medical condition.
 
No additional information has been released to the public, as authorities continue to investigate.
